1969 BSA B25 Victor Special For Sale
This nimble 1969 BSA B25 Starfire was blessed early in its life with a displacement upgrade with the introduction of a 1968 BSA 441 Victor Special motor. This 441cc motor is identical in appearance to the original 250cc motor with the exception of the larger more square barrel. This was a period sought after upgrade, giving this sweet handling motorcycle the power that it lacked. It is a perfect marriage of a confidence inspiring chassis with a surprisingly quick power plant.
This gem of a motorcycle came into my life in 2012, having sat idle in a garage since 1978. I went through it from front to back and top to bottom in preparation for many miles of adventures. Any modifications that I could make to improve the reliability was done. These efforts have been well worth my time, as I had the pleasure of doing about 6,000 miles of memorable exploration and adventure. During these miles, it has been to the top of Mount Lassen, traversed northern California, encircled Lake Tahoe, visited redwood groves, and discovered historical towns in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I have enjoyed this little gem on the famed MotoMelee ride numerous times, the Norcal TT and the Velocette Rally. This set of accomplishments made it possible to flush potential issues and deal with necessary repairs.
This well sorted vintage machine is ready for a new rider, as I am focusing my energy on new projects and challenges. I hope it brings you as many smiles and looks as it did me, while I have spared you the incredible efforts needed to bring an old machine back to life. Come test ride the smoothest 441 victor that you will ever experience.
Cheers,
Blaise
